Chattanooga, Tenn. -- Chattanooga firefighters responded to a house fire at 2006 Laura Street around 4:00 this afternoon. Battalion Chief Don Bowman said the firefighters located the fire in a bedroom and the attic. The firefighters attacked the fire quickly with hand-held hoselines, limiting the damage to the bedroom and attic. The dollar loss was estimated at roughly $10,000. No injuries were reported.

Chattanooga, TN -- No injuries were reported in connection with a house fire today. The Chattanooga Fire Department received the alarm around 3:00 this afternoon and responded to 119 Norman Lane with several fire companies.

Chattanooga, TN -- A Chattanooga woman was arrested today for activating a fire alarm pull station at the Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) headquarters on Cameron Circle.

Chattanooga, TN -- No injuries were reported in connection with a 2-alarm fire in Brainerd this morning. The Chattanooga Fire Department received the alarm around 10:00 a.m. and responded with six fire companies to 3237 Brainerd Road.

Chattanooga, TN -- Chattanooga firefighters rushed to a house fire at 6514 Pine Manor Drive at 1:22 this morning. When the first firefighters arrived on the scene, thick, black smoke was pouring out a bedroom window on the ground floor.
