Biennial Sculpture Exhibition
Since 2005, through a nationally juried competition, large-scale sculptures are selected for placement along First Street, the Chattanooga Green, Renaissance Park and the downtown area to create a rotating outdoor exhibition space. Several works are purchased each year for inclusion in the City’s permanent public art collection.
The 7th Biennial Exhibition is currently on view through Fall 2018 and includes the following artworks:
"Tonight" by Mark Chew located at First Street Sculpture Garden
"Prairie Ship" by Greg Mueller located in Renaissance Park
"Next Millenium Gate" by Jim Gallucci located at Riverfront Parkway at TN Aquarium
"Wood's Revenge – Resawn II" by Stephen Klema located at First Street Sculpture Garden
"Don't Forget Us" by Nathan Pierce located at Veteran's Bridge
"Cumulon" by Phil Proctor located in Renaissance Park
"Allegro" by Hanna Jubran located in Phillips Park
