Campaña de Ciudad Parque Nacional
La campaña Chattanooga National Park City es un esfuerzo apoyado por la ciudad e impulsado por la comunidad para celebrar, elevar y conservar a las personas, lugares, espíritu cívico y culturas que hacen que Chattanooga y el Valle del Río Tennessee sean tan únicos e irremplazables. La idea es construir nuestra ciudad en torno a nuestros valores únicos y, al hacerlo, celebrar lo mejor de Chattanooga y de aquellos que la llaman hogar. Este es un enfoque intencionalmente centrado en las personas para la conservación comunitaria que fomenta más voluntariado y participación cívica en torno a la salud comunitaria, la belleza, el arte y la diversión. Aunque no está afiliado al Servicio de Parques Nacionales, el movimiento comparte la idea de que protegemos nuestros recursos y lugares más preciados no solo hoy, sino para las generaciones futuras. Esto tiene la intención de ayudar a nuestra comunidad a moldear nuestra ciudad en torno a los valores que la hacen tan especial, tal como se describe en la carta de Chattanooga National Park City. El objetivo es que Chattanooga obtenga el estatus de la primera National Park City en América del Norte para 2025.

The Chattanooga National Park City campaign is a community-driven effort to celebrate, elevate, and conserve the people, places, civic spirit, and cultures that make Chattanooga and the Tennessee River Valley so unique and irreplaceable. The idea is to build our city around our unique values, and in doing so, celebrate the best of Chattanooga and those that call it home. This is an intentionally human-first approach to community conservation that creates more volunteerism and civic engagement around community health, beauty, art, and fun. While not affiliated with the National Park Service, the movement shares the idea that we protect our most precious resources and places not only today but for generations to come. This intends to help our community shape our city around the values that make it so special outlined in the Chattanooga National Park City charter.
