In today's world, parents, caregivers, and childcare providers need support more than ever. The Office of Early Learning is committed to paving the way for all children to succeed. By supporting childcare providers, families, and communities, we can give children a greater chance of growing into healthy, educated and productive adults. We are committed to creating systems that ensure that every child receives the opportunities and care they need to thrive, recognizing that strong support systems are essential for their growth and development.

Responsibilities

Priorities:

  • Expand access to early learning for all families
  • Integrate our early learning programs from prenatal care to kindergarten
  • Train the next generation of excellent early learning professionals
  • Partner with Hamilton County Schools to provide high-quality learning opportunities and services for families
  • Make Chattanooga an investment-ready early learning model for the nation
