Commercial Building Permit

Commercial building permit means a building permit issued by the city to construct, enlarge, alter, repair, move, demolish, or change the occupancy of any building not covered by a residential building permit. All projects that are not 1, 2, 3, or 4 family dwellings and townhouses 3 stories or less.

What Are The Requirements?

  1. Hard copies of the plans will be required once the Plans Review is complete
  2. Plan sets must be split and titled accordingly or they will be rejected
  3. Submit drawings and specifications showing all aspects of the project

$1,001.00 to $50,000.00$25.00 for the first $1,000.00 plus $5.75 for each additional thousand or fraction thereof, to and including $50,000.00
$50,001.00 to $100,000.00$306.75 for the first $50,000.00 plus $4.75 for each additional thousand or fraction thereof, to and including $100,000.00
$100,001.00 to $500,000.00$544.25 for the first $100,000.00 plus $3.75 for each additional thousand or fraction thereof, to and including $500,000.00
$500,001.00 and up$2,044.25 for the first $500,000.00 plus $2.75 for each additional thousand or fraction thereof
