What Are The Requirements?

  1. A completed Demolition Permit Application
  2. A completed Land Disturbing Application for demolition

(Required when footings/foundation is removed or when heavy equipment will be used to demo the structure) along with a site plan showing contours of property and location of silt-fencing.

For all demolitions, all moves, and alteration of interiors requiring a demolition permit: this permit shall not be valid until final approval to proceed is received from the Air Pollution Control Bureau. However, approval is not necessary for one single-family dwelling demolition, per fiscal year. To avoid costly non-compliance penalties, call (423) 643-5970 if you have any questions.
