Honor veterans by purchasing flags that will fly on the Veterans Bridge and a mayoral proclamation recognizing the honoree’s dedicated service in our nation’s armed forces.

What Are The Requirements?

The proclamation may honor an individual, family or organization. The flag will fly for 6 months or until such time as weather damage requires its replacement, whichever comes first. One Mayoral proclamation per flag will be created.

What Is The Cost? 
Due to the limited number of poles, flags will be displayed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Process Details

Processing Time

  • Submissions received after Veterans Day will be proclaimed on the next Memorial Day commemoration, and available for pickup following the ceremony
  • Submissions received after Memorial Day will be proclaimed at the next Veterans Day event and will be available for pickup following that ceremony.
