The Air Pollution Control Bureau is a shared resource between the City and the County. This department provides daily air quality information and enforces the air pollution laws and regulations as set forth by the Environmental Protection Agency.

Daily Air Quality Report

You can use the Air Pollution Control Bureau website to check daily air quality reports. There, you can find:

  • Today's air quality forecast
  • Past 24 hours report
  • Current pollen and air quality information

Air Pollution Regulations

The Air Pollution Control Bureau permits major and minor air pollution sources, such as:

  • Residential burning
  • Asbestos
  • Industrial facilities
  • Gasoline dispensing facilities
  • Dry cleaners
