Station 4 is an energy-efficient station built in 2009, serving the East Chattanooga and Avondale communities. It is a single-company, two-bay fire hall that provides essential fire protection and emergency services. Station 4 shares borders with Station 6 to the north, Station 15 to the east, Station 5 to the south, and Station 10 to the west.
