Chattanooga Head Start

Chattanooga Head Start is an early learning program serving low income children ages 8 weeks- to 5 years in a center-based setting. across Chattanooga and Hamilton County with some centers operating in collaboration with Hamilton County Schools and local childcare centers. Chattanooga Head Start reserved 10% of its slots for children with special needs.

Easy Application Process

Important Note- Completing this form is just the first step. It doesn't mean your child is automatically enrolled, but it does mean we're excited to meet you!

Volunteer Opportunities

If you are interested in helping with our program, let us find the right experience for you.

We welcome all children including those with disabilities. We participate in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) so that we are able to provide nutritious meals daily.
