Since 1965, the Chattanooga Head Start and Early Head Start program has been fostering school readiness in Hamilton County children from birth to five years through a supportive, research-based approach, with free access to developmentally tailored education and resources for parents.

We welcome all children including those with disabilities. We participate in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) so that we are able to provide nutritious meals daily.
