Collection Method

Starting January 1, 2025, the leaf collection service will transition to a new, combined system. All leaf collection requests will be handled alongside the city’s regular roaming service requests. This means that any resident in the neighborhood can request leaf collection, and the city will handle service based on a roaming schedule, improving the overall efficiency of both services.

Please note that loose leaves collection may be impacted by leaf volume, weather conditions, mechanical issues, or other operational challenges.

How to Request a Service

Residents can request leaf collection through the following methods:

Starting in January, submit a request for leaf collection through the city’s roaming service system.

Call 311 for priority service through November and December.

To ensure the leaf collection process is as efficient as possible, residents are encouraged to call 311 to request priority service in their area. The city’s Public Works crews will prioritize requests based on the volume of leaves and geographic location. This dedicated service is available to all Chattanooga residents, so they can enjoy a cleaner, leaf-free neighborhood this fall.
