The Wood Recycling Center processes yard waste collected from homes, contractors, and self-haulers. Non-residents and businesses pay a standard disposal fee.
Mulch is available at no charge to City of Chattanooga residents only. Businesses and non City residents will have to pay a fee to the contractor at the WRC.

Guidelines for Free Wood Waste Disposal
There is no charge for residents of the City of Chattanooga to dispose of acceptable wood waste in a standard-size pickup truck or a single-axle trailer
City crews do not unload wood from trucks or trailers

Mulch Pickup
- Mulch is available at no charge to the City of Chattanooga residents when a valid driver's license is presented
- Crews will load mulch into trucks or trailers for city residents
- Residents are limited to a standard-size pick-up truck or single-axle trailer for free loads of mulch
- Mulch must be covered when leaving the facility
