12th Avenue House Fire

The cause of an East Lake house fire is under investigation. At 11:12 AM on 11/27/23, Red Shift companies responded to a residence in the 3100 block of 12th Avenue. When Engine 9 turned the corner, they could see a large volume of smoke coming from the scene. Fire was found in the back left corner of the structure. Engine 9 made an aggressive interior attack and Engine 5 followed them inside to begin a primary search. Ladder 5 personnel went in with tools to assist with overhaul. Squad 1 made entry and aided with the primary and secondary search. No one was found inside the home. Crews prevented the fire from getting into the attic with a quick knockdown. There were no injuries. Engine 9, Ladder 5, Engine 5, Squad 1, Ladder 1, Quint 1, Squad 13, Ladder 13, Battalion 1, CFD Investigations, CPD and HCEMS responded.
