Fatal Pedestrian Accident On Chickamauga Road

CHATTANOOGA, TN. – Chattanooga Police responded to the call of a pedestrian struck in the 400 block of Chickamauga Road at 3:39 this morning.

The driver of a Peterbilt garbage truck was emptying commercial dumpsters and backed over a 20-year-old man who appeared to have been. THe man was pronounced dead at the scene. No charges have been filed.
