Fire Prevention Week Awards Ceremony On Oct. 24, 2016

Monday, Oct. 24th, at 10:00 a.m.

Chattanooga Downtown Library, 1001 Broad Street

Fire Marshal Beau Matlock and members of the Fire Prevention Bureau will host this annual awards ceremony, which will last approximately 15-20 minutes. The students who won the fire safety poster contest will be there with parents and teachers to receive their gift certificates, ranging from $50 to $100. The "Best of Show" poster will be displayed on a local billboard for a month, and will also be entered in a state-wide contest. Interviews with the Fire Marshal and students will be available immediately after the ceremony.
