No Injuries In Dryer Fire

When firefighters arrived on the scene, they discovered light smoke coming from the two-story structure. Firefighters deployed hose lines and made a fast attack. The fire was contained to the laundry area. The tenant stated she smelled smoke and heard a smoke alarm. When she went to investigate, she saw flames coming out of the dryer. No injuries were reported. Fire damage was minimal to the house. The cause of the fire will be ruled accidental.
