Police Arrest Two in Monday Night Shooting on Highland Avenue

CHATTANOOGA, TN. – Chattanooga police have arrested two people in connection with the fatal Monday night shooting of a 17-year-old male in the 3700 block of Highland Park Avenue.

20-year Mafia Marshall (DOB 12/12/02) and a 15-year-old male are both charged with first-degree murder, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and reckless endangerment.

The 17-year-old was shot just before 9:00 last night when a suspicious vehicle drove through the area and one of the occupants opened fire. Responding officers performed life-saving measures on the teen but his injuries were too extensive and he died shortly thereafter.
