Public Notice: City of Chattanooga PRO Housing Grant Application

The City of Chattanooga is pleased to announce that it is applying for funding through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Pathways to Removing Obstacles to Housing (PRO Housing) Grant Program. This program supports local efforts to remove barriers to affordable housing and expand housing options for residents across our city.

As part of the application process, the City is committed to transparency and public engagement. We invite residents to review our grant application and to provide feedback during the public comment period.

Public Comment Period:
The application will be available for public comment from Friday, September 27th 2024 to Saturday, October the 12th. During this time, we encourage community members to share their thoughts, insights, and suggestions regarding the proposed plan. Comments can be emailed to mmiles@chattanooga.gov 

Public Meeting:        
The City of Chattanooga’s Department of Economic Development will conduct a public meeting at Carver Community Center, 600 N Orchard Knob Avenue, on Tuesday, October 1st, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
