Storm Related Calls Keep CFD Crews Busy

Chattanooga firefighters respondws to emergencies across the city as wicked weather rolled through Friday afternoon. There were wires down in multiple locations and several trees have fallen, including a few onto houses. There were no injuries. On Friday afternoon, CFD crews were called to the 3300 block of Pinewood Avenue where a large tree fell onto an apartment building following the storms. Residents in the top apartment were home at the time, but they were not injured. A building inspector responded to the scene to assess the damage to the structure. At least six families were displaced until the power meter could be fixed.
