Winniespan Road House Fire

Four occupants and two cats made it out of a home in the 5400 block of Winniespan Road after calling 911 to report a fire in one of the bedrooms. It happened at 10:25 AM on 12/9/23. Blue Shift companies responded and quickly extinguished the fire, containing it to the bedroom of origin and its contents. It appeared to be accidental in nature, according to officials on the scene. There were no injuries. Quint 8, Quint 6, Ladder 7, Squad 7, Engine 15, Battalion 2 and Battalion 3 responded.
