CHATTANOOGA, TN. – Police have arrested a 17-year-old male in connection with the fatal shooting last week of a 15-year-old at 3920 Marigold Drive. 

Police were dispatched to the residence on reports of a burglary in progress at 8:25 pm on July 26th. When they arrived, they found the 15-year-old male had been shot several times inside the residence. He was rushed to the hospital but died from his wounds.

CHATTANOOGA, TN. – No charges will be filed in the fatal pedestrian accident that occurred in the 5600 block of Brainerd Road about 9:20 last night.

80-year-old Jack Taylor from Graysville, Tennessee, was crossing the road and, according to witnesses, walked directly into the path of an oncoming silver Audi. Mr. Taylor was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries. His next of kin has been notified. 

CHATTANOOGA, TN. – Chattanooga Police are piecing together evidence and following leads in the shooting of a 24-year-old man on Fagan Street today. 

Officers were dispatched to 4106 Fagan Street at 2:45 this afternoon on a person shot call and found the man with a non-life threatening bullet wound to the stomach. He apparently had been shot by someone driving through the area. When first responders got to the scene, they took the victim to the hospital by ambulance.

This is an ongoing investigation and there is no further information we can release at the moment.

CHATTANOOGA, TN. – Chattanooga Police responded to a person shot call on the parking lot at 2207 Overnight Drive at 3:08 this afternoon. 

A 20-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man were driving when shots were fired at them. The man was hit by gunfire in the upper shoulder and forearm, the woman was injured by shrapnel or debris. Both were taken to the hospital by ambulance after police arrived.

CHATTANOOGA, TN. – Chattanooga Police at 2:04 this afternoon responded to an aggravated assault call at 2100 Hamilton Place Boulevard when dispatchers received multiple calls about a fight. A 17-year-old male suffered knife wounds in the fight, but all parties involved in the altercation left the scene before police arrived. The 17-year-old was taken to the hospital by a private party in a personal vehicle.
 

CHATTANOOGA, TN. – Chattanooga Police continue to investigate this morning’s home invasion shooting in the 3900 block of Cherryton Drive in Brainerd.


At 7:16 this morning, officers responded to a suspicious activity call at the residence on Cherryton Drive. When they arrived, they found several shell casings, a firearm, and a 24-year- old man suffering from non-life threatening gunshot wounds in the arm and groin. He was transported to the hospital.
