Through Neighborhood Associations, residents come together to discuss issues, solve problems, advocate for their communities, and engage in all aspects of civic life. Neighborhood Associations are independent organizations. Registration with Neighborhood Services enables organizations to achieve official recognition by the City of Chattanooga and access to programs, information, and unique opportunities exclusive to registered Neighborhood Associations.

Hello neighbor! Neighborhood Services is looking for folks interested in starting Neighborhood Associations in their communities. Neighborhood Associations have a long history and tradition in our city and we're proud to have over 100+ groups registered with our office. Anyone who lives in Chattanooga can work with their neighbors to start their own Neighborhood Association today. 

Why start a Neighborhood Association? Working together to achieve common goals is the best way we know to get wins for your neighborhood. Also, when neighborhoods speak as one it makes others take notice. You can advocate for your community to elected officials as well as connect with your neighbors to have fun and improve the overall quality of life. Every registered group gets one Neighborhood Relations Specialist assigned to them to get started and get support for your neighborhood.
