The Office of Mayor Tim Kelly will host a formal Swearing In Ceremony for Chief of Police John Chambers. This event marks the official transition of leadership within the Chattanooga Police Department, celebrating Chief John Chambers’ 25 years of dedicated service to the community.
Members of the public and media are invited to attend the swearing-in ceremony, where Chief John Chambers will officially assume his new role and share his vision for the future of the Chattanooga Police Department.
A brief reception will follow the ceremony at the Walker Theater. Doors open at 12 p.m.
