Situated along Chattanooga's Riverfront, this distinctive park honors John Ross, Principal Chief of the Cherokee Nation from 1828 to 1866. Historic Ross's Landing, is a gem that features a natural amphitheater, a river pier, Chattanooga Green, a handicapped-accessible playground, a marina, and sprawling walkways along the river. Ross's Landing hosts numerous internationally known events and concerts and is home to the renowned Tennessee Aquarium, adding to its allure. The park extends its charm with a plaza showcasing an interactive system of wading pools and streams, elevated walkways bordered by native plants, beautiful overlooks of the Tennessee River, and historical markings that pay respect to Chattanooga's Native American and Military heritage.
The Passage water feature runs from early May through September and runs daily 8:30 am-10 pm.
