Chattown SkatePark and Hockey Rink

The Chattanooga Skatepark, at 1801 Carter Street, sits behind the Horizon pavilion and has great views to and from Highway 27 and Lookout Mountain.

The current park includes a small shade pavilion with bleachers and numerous ramps for a variety of wheeled sports as well as a flat outdoor roller rink. Free to use and open sunrise until 11 p.m. every day.

The park serves a variety of users in age, abilities, and backgrounds. Please note that parking for skatepark users is provided but is not available during special events at Finley Stadium or the Pavilion. On days of events, skatepark users should plan to park nearby and use their wheels to arrive at the park.

Skating features have been chosen by the skatepark design team (California Skatepark) based on the numerous survey responses we received and balanced with the expected project budget.  Additionally, the park features a landscape design to soften the space and provide better shade than what the current park provides.
