On August 16, 2019 at approximately 12:00 a.m., Chattanooga Police responded to the 1200 block of East Main Street on an unknown medical call.

• Upon arrival, officers located a male victim suffering from a stab wound.
• Hamilton County EMS responded and transported the victim to a local hospital.
• Officers secured the scene and called for the Violent Crimes Bureau to respond.
• Investigators were notified that the victim had succumbed to his injuries.
• Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call the homicide tip line at 423-643-5100 or submit a tip via the CPD Mobile App. You can remain anonymous.
