05-25-14 Fire Damages East Brainerd Business

Six fire companies responded and upon arrival found heavy fire on the outside of the building with extension to the inside of the structure. Companies on scene made a quick attack to contain the fire to the back section of the structure. Several vehicles were inside the building and received smoke damage. There were no injuries reported with this incident.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Chattanooga Fire Department's Fire Investigation Division. The estimated dollar loss is $40,000.00. CFD was assisted on scene by the HCEMS, EPB and CPD.
