01-21-15 Small Fire Forces Evacuation at Walmart on Gunbarrel Road

Captain Teri Rose, the incident commander, said the fire was located in the women's clothing section. Captain Rose said the fire involved one circular clothing rack.

The smoke and fire activated the building's sprinkler system, which quickly extinguished the flames. No injuries were reported. Damages to the store are relatively minor, but there is some smoke and water damage to clean up.
