07-07-15 Cause of Duncan Avenue Fire Rules Accidental

Captain Anthony Moore with the Fire Investigation Division said the fire was most likely caused by an electrical malfunction in a bedroom on the second floor. Fortunately, no one was injured. Captain Moore said the three adults who were living in the house had no insurance, so volunteers with the American Red Cross of Southeast Tennessee were called in to provide temporary assistance with food, clothing and a temporary place to stay.
