10-11-16 Multi-Unit residential Fire

Chattanooga Fire Department units arrived on scene at 5:26 p.m. to a multi-unit residential fire, arriving fire units stated that the unit was 50% involved with fire in the attic and rear of the structure. Firefighters used hand held fire hoses and an elevated water stream to contain the fire. The fire was called control at 6:27 p.m. The blaze appears to have started in end unit. There was minimal damage to the attached unit. Cause of the fire is still under investigation. The dollar amount of the loss is estimated at $150,000.00.
