01-19-17 Space Heater Believed Cause of Afternoon Fire
The cause of the fire will be ruled accidental. Chief Bowman said a portable space heater had been placed too close to a wall. When the wall got hot enough, it burst into flames. Chattanooga police and Hamilton County EMS also provided assistance on the scene.
