On 10/3/2018 at approximately 2040 hours, Chattanooga Police Officers responded to 6574 East Brainerd Road at the Hamilton Pointe Apartments on a person shot.

• Upon arrival, Officers located the victim suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his right leg.
• The victim was transported to a local area hospital by Hamilton County EMS.
• The victim advised he was engaged in a verbal argument with the suspect before being shot.
• The Chattanooga Police Department's Major Crimes Division is actively investigating the incident.
