11-27-16 Shooting/Robbery - 2200 block Vance Ave

At 6:41 p.m. Sunday evening officers with the Chattanooga Police Department responded to a call for parties shot and robbery from person. The following information was obtained through preliminary investigations:

• CPD officers located two males suffering from gunshot wounds in the 2200 block of Vance Avenue
• Both parties were transported via ambulance to a local hospital
• Both parties injuries are considered nonlife-threatening
• Both parties were sitting in a parked vehicle when 2 males approached passenger side and fired shots striking the passenger
• Suspects then went to the driver's side and fired shots striking the second victim
• The suspects left the scene with the driver's wallet and cell phone
• Chattanooga Police Department's Violent Crimes Bureau continues to actively investigate this incident.

VICTIMS:

Rigoberto Salvador-Morales, 34 (driver)

Celso Perez, 20 (passenger)

Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call 423-698-2525. The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
