12-18-16 Robbery from business/shot fired 5505 Brainerd Rd

A few minutes before 9:00 p.m. Sunday, December 18, 2016 officers with the Chattanooga Police Department responded to a robbery from business/shot fired call at the Subway on Brainerd Rd. The following are the preliminary facts of that investigation:

• Suspect entered the Subway at 5517 Brainerd Rd and fired a shot from a gun into a microwave
• Suspect took an undisclosed amount and fled on foot
• Suspect was wearing black hoodie, black ski mask, black pants and purple backpack
• Suspect description: black male, light skinned, 5'8" in height, thin build
• Witnesses on scene are cooperating with investigators
• No injuries reportedSuspect is armed and considered dangerous
• Members of the Violent Crimes Bureau are actively investigating all leads in this case
