2-21-17 Shooting - 5300 block Lee Ave.


At 9:45 p.m. Tuesday, February 21, 2017, Chattanooga Police responded to 5300 block of Lee Ave. on a person shot call. The following are the preliminary facts of that investigation:

  • Upon arrival officers located the victim suffering from a gunshot wound
  • His injuries are non-life-threatening at this time
  • The victim was transported to a local hospital via a personally owned vehicle
  • The suspect(s) had fled the scene prior to police arrival
  • There is no releasable suspect information at this time

Officers with the Violent Crime Bureau are processing the scene and following all actionable leads. If you have any information on this incident, call CPD immediately. You can remain anonymous.

Victim:

Anthony Moore (male, 47)

Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call 423-698-2525. The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
