3-4-17 Domestic Shooting - 300 block S. Lyerly St.

At 4:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 4, 2017 the Chattanooga Police Department responded to a Domestic Assault / Shooting at the 300 block of S Lyerly St. The following are the preliminary facts of that incident:

• The shooting resulted from a domestic disorder between the suspect and victim
• The victim was driven to a local hospital by the suspect
• The victim's injuries are non-life-threatening at this time
• Upon police arrival the suspect was taken into custody without incident at the hospital
• The crime scene was determined to be at a location on 300 S Lyerly St where investigators responded to gather evidence

Members of the Violent Crimes Bureau are actively investigating the incident and following all actionable leads

Anthony Jawaun Jones
DOB: 11/15/1989

Charges:

Aggravated Domestic Assault and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm

Victim:

Identity will not be released
