3-23-17 Shooting - 3300 block Pinewood Ave.

The Chattanooga Police Department was called to respond to a shooting in the 3300 block of Pinewood Ave. Thursday evening. The following are the preliminary facts of that incident:

• Two victims were located on scene
• Both victims were transported by Hamilton County EMS to a local hospital
• Victim one succumbed to his injuries during surgery
• Victim two suffered non-life-threatening injuries
• Neither victim cooperated with police when questioned
• Both victims are validated gang members
• Members of the Violent Crimes Bureau are following all actionable leads

Victims:

Victim 1 - Antonio Baldwin - (male, 23) - deceased

Victim 2 - William Daniel - (male, 21)

Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call 423-698-2525. The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
