3-28-17 Surge Week Enforcement Totals

The result of this increased enforcement effort along with the warrant roundup led to 432 total arrests, 56 of which are gang members. Nearly 4 pounds of Meth and 6 pounds of Marijuana was seized. Narcotics collected include 86 grams Cocaine, 83 grams Crack, 311 grams Ecstasy, and 7 grams Heroin. Additionally, nearly $64,000 cash was seized.

Several of these cases will be handled at the federal level.

CPD received assistance during this increased enforcement from Hamilton County Sheriffs Office, East Ridge Police Department, Red Bank Police Department, Chattanooga Housing Authority, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Federal Bureau of Investigation, US Drug Enforcement Administration, Homeland Security, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives, and US Marshal Service.
