4-12-17 Shooting/Homicide - 1900 block Rawlings St.

Officers with the Chattanooga Police Department were called to respond to a person shot in the ​1900 block of ​Rawlings Street at 2:26 a.m. ​Wednesday, April 12, 2017​. The following are the preliminary facts of that incident:

• ​One victim was found deceased on the sidewalk
• Victim suffered a gunshot wound to the headNo suspect information provided
• Victim is a validated gang member
• Members of the Violent Crimes Bureau are following all actionable leads
