5-15-17 Homicide - 3800 block Brainerd Rd.

ORIGINAL RELEASE (5/13/17):

Chattanooga Police officers were dispatched to the 3800 block of Brainerd Road on a person shot call at 11:40 p.m. on May 13, 2017. The following are the preliminary facts of that incident:

• Officers arrived on scene and located two parties
• One deceased, one uninjured
• Witness told police the two were walking along Brainerd Rd. when shots fired were heard
• After what sounded like shots fired to witness, the other party was found unresponsive
• Deceased did not suffer any obvious gunshot wounds
• Medical Examiner will determine cause of death pending autopsy
• Members of the Violent Crime Bureau are following all actionable leads

Marcus Bradfield (male, 20)
