Shooting - 1100 block E. 3rd St.

Chattanooga Police were notified of a person arriving at a local hospital with a gunshot wound on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 7:55 p.m. The following are the preliminary facts of that incident:

• The victim's injuries are considered non-life-threatening
• The victim was walking eastbound at the 1100 block of E 3rd St at the time of the shooting
• The victim advised that at the time she was shot, she observed two unknown vehicles drive past her exchanging gunfire
• The victim then walked to a local hospital to seek treatment
• Members of the Violent Crime Bureau are following all actionable leads.
