5-20-17 Traffic Crash/Fatality - 6900 Bonny Oaks Dr.

At 4:30 p.m., Saturday, May 20, 2017, Chattanooga Police responded to a traffic crash at 6900 Bonny Oaks Dr. The following are the preliminary facts of that incident:

• A maroon Nissan Frontier (Vehicle 2) was stopped behind other vehicles on Bonny Oaks Dr (westbound)
• While Vehicle 2 was stopped, a black Harley Davidson Motorcycle (Vehicle 1) ran into the back of Vehicle 2
• Driver 1 was unresponsive on scene and was transported to a local hospital by HCEMS where he succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash
• Driver 2 was uninjured
• Officers with the CPD Traffic Division are actively investigating the crash
