6-26-17 Shooting/Homicide - 100 block Glenwood Dr.


On June 26, 2017 at approximately 2:43 p.m., Chattanooga Police were dispatched to the 100 block of Glenwood Drive in reference to a person shot. The following are the preliminary facts of that incident:

  • Upon arrival, officers located a victim suffering from a gunshot wound (Victim #1)
  • Hamilton County EMS responded to the scene to provide medical attention and later transported Victim #1 to a local hospital
  • Two other victims (Victim #2 & #3) would arrive at local hospitals via personally owned vehicles
  • Victim #1 succumbed to his injuries at the hospital
  • Victim #2 and #3 have non-life-threatening injuries
  • After initial investigation and interviews, Violent Crimes Detectives determined Victim #3 was also the Suspect. He's been charged and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
  • Violent Crime Bureau investigators are following all actionable leads

Dangelo Marshall (male, 20) Deceased

Victim #2:

Michael Benning (male, 18)

Suspect/Victim #3:

D'Kobe Jordan (male, 19)

Charges: Criminal Homicide, Attempted First Degree Murder, Possessing Firearm with Intent to go Armed, (unrelated) Aggravated Assault - Domestic

 

Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call 423-698-2525. The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
