8-24-17 Shooting suspect arrested - 400 block Gillespie Rd

• Chattanooga Police responded to a local hospital on reports of a person who had been shot
• The victim was transported to a local hospital by a personally owned vehicle
• After speaking to the victim, Police secured a crime scene on the 400 block of Gillespie Rd
• Investigators were able to identify and arrest a suspect near the crime scene
• Members of the Violent Crimes Bureau are actively investigating this incident

Suspect:

Jaylon Priest

DOB: 12/29/1995

Charges: Aggravated Assault, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon
