Traffic Crash - 18000 I-24 East

• A motorcycle (Vehicle #1) was traveling EB at 18000 I-24 when it merged into the adjacent lane occupied by a tractor trailer (Vehicle #2) and made contact
• After initial contact, Vehicle #1 went down, rider and passenger landed on the asphalt
• Driver of Vehicle #3 was unable to avoid the operator of the motorcycle lying on the ground and struck that person
• Vehicle #1 operator and passenger were transported to a local hospital by Hamilton County EMS
• Both are in critical condition
• There is no information on the tractor trailer or its driver at this time

Vehicle #1 Operator - Audrey Snider (female, 46) critical condition

Vehicle #1 Passenger - Stacy Hanson (female, 40) critical condition

Vehicle #3 Driver - Aleksandr Brown (male, 22) no reported injuries

Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call 423-698-2525. The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
