3-7-18 Shooting - 600 block W 13th St Ct

Chattanooga Police responded to local hospital concerning a victim who had arrived suffering from a gunshot wound
  • Investigators were able to determine that the shooting resulted from a verbal disorder between two individuals
  • After speaking to the victim, a suspect was located by police and taken into custody
  • Members of the Violent Crimes Bureau are actively investigating this incident

    Briana Smith (female, 23)

    Suspect:
    Clinnita Chambliss
    DOB: 9/21/84

    Charges: Aggravated Assault, Attempted 1st Degree Murder, Felony Reckless Endangerment

    Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call 423-698-2525. The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
