5-4-18 Traffic Crash/ Fatality - 2700 Dodds Ave.

• Mitsubishi Montero (Vehicle #1) was traveling north on Dodds Ave., attempting a left turn onto East 28th St.
• As driver of Vehicle #1 was making the turn a Honda motorcycle (Vehicle #2) was traveling south on Dodds Ave.continuing straight through the intersection
• Vehicle #1 & #2 made contact in the intersection
• Motorcyclist was thrown to the ground
• A Chrylser Town & Country minivan (Vehicle #3) was traveling north on Dodds Ave. The driver unable to see the driver of Vehicle #2 on the ground, ran over him in the roadway.
• After the collision Vehicle #1 continued with the turn, but later stopped after realizing someone was struck
• Driver of Vehicle #2 was pronounced deceased on scene
• Members of the Chattanooga Police Traffic Division are actively investigating the crash
