7-22-18 Shooting - 2500 block Doolittle St.

• Police were able to make contact with the victim at a local hospital where she was suffering from a critical, but non life-threatening gunshot wound
• The victim was transported to a local hospital via a personally owned vehicle
• Investigators were able to determine that a large disorder escalated to shots fired when the victim was injured
• Members of the Violent Crime Bureau are actively investigating this incident

The victim will not be identified due to the fact that she is a juvenile

Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call 423-698-2525. The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
