11-19-18 Gun Team Arrest - 2500 Market Street

• CPD contacted the Probation / Parole office who confirmed that McKevie was on GPS monitoring.
• GPS placed McKevie inside Howard High School
• CPD made contact with the SRO at Howard High School prior to their arrival and alerted him that McKevie had active warrants.
• The SRO located McKevie and placed him in custody for the warrants.
• Prior to CPD arriving, McKevie advised the SRO that he had a firearm in his backpack inside of his school locker.
• The firearm was located, secured, and turned over to CPD who checked it into the CPD Property room.
• Desmond McKevie was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.

Suspect:

Desmond McKevie (10/11/2000)

Charges: Aggravated Assault, Reckless Endangerment, Vandalism, Possessing a Firearm with the intent to go armed, and Carrying Weapons on school property
